How do I book a session?

You can contact me by filling out the form on my contact page, or alternatively drop me a message on social media.

When is payment due?

A £20 deposit is required to book your session, the remainder will be due on the day of the session.

Where are you based?

My studio is located in Newton Aycliffe, and I also offer outdoor sessions at a nearby nature reserve.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for newborn sessions, which are best scheduled during pregnancy.

How long does a session last?

  •  Newborn sessions: 1 - 2 hours

  •  Cake Smash sessions: 40 - 60 minutes

  •  Mini sessions: 15 - 20 minutes

  •  Full family sessions: 40 - 60 minutes

What should we wear?

Neutral, soft tones photograph beautifully in my light and airy studio. Avoid bold patterns and logos for a timeless look. White, cream, beige work best.

Can siblings and parents be included in the session?

Absolutely! I encourage family participation, especially for newborn sessions.

Do you provide outfits or props?

I have a selection of outfits available for certain sessions (e.g., newborn, cake smash). My style is natural and minimal, so the props I do have are very basic.

Are we allowed to bring our pets?

Absolutely, pets are part of them family and are more than welcome in my studio.

Where do we meet you for our outdoor session?

Just come to my address and we'll walk there together, there is plenty of parking outside.

After the Session

When will we receive our photos?

You’ll receive a proof gallery within 5 to 7 days, and once you’ve selected your images, final edits are delivered within 3 - 4 days.

How do we receive our images?

Your final images will be delivered via an online gallery where you can download them in high resolution.

Can we purchase additional images?

Yes! If you’d like more images than your package includes, you can purchase extra files or upgrade to a full gallery.

Can we get the images sooner?

Yes, I offer a fast track service which ensures the gallery is edited and over to you within 48 hour, this comes at an additional charge of £50.

Newborn Sessions

When is the best time to book a newborn session?

Please book during pregnancy to avoid disappointment, and we’ll schedule the session ideally 1 to 3 weeks after your estimated due date.

What if my baby arrives early or late?

No problem! I allow flexibility in my schedule to accommodate early or late arrivals.

Cake Smash Sessions

Do I need to bring a cake?

No, I provide the cake, as well as balloons and a number balloon.

Can we do a themed cake smash?

I keep my setups simple and neutral but can add a subtle pop of colour if requested.
